The Coit murals are so new a style for me— It’s an odd one to try to draw out. It’s very simple, but it’s not simple because they’re not able to do more detail. It’s like a restrained detailing, where the majority of the emphasis is on the expressions and meaning of the image itself as well as the shading (which, with a tablet, is reallllly hard to imitate, so I sort of stopped focusing on that).

This is just a website where I'll post various drawings or little animations I've made that I consider more polished than my usual doodles.
Anyway, hello, my name is Elise Acredolo and I'm persuing a career in art, preferably in animatics and storyboarding. I'm currently studying at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in the 2D Animation - Storyboarding major. For two semesters, I was the editorial cartoonist and illustrator at The Inquirer, a newspaper put out by Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill. The majority of things I'll be posting is digital, but I'm also very involved in traditional mediums, especially marker and pen and ink. I've lived in the Bay Area my entire life, currently in Oakland, California.
